One trend that has stuck around with current AAA titles is that their file sizes are getting bigger and bigger. If you’re in that crowd, then you might be curious to know just how big the file size for Forspoken will be on PS5. Based on the general feedback the developers have received, it seems that many demo players will be buying the full version of Forspoken. In that time, PS5 players have been able to experience some of Forspoken and part of what it has to offer. If you’re a PlayStation 5 player, then you might have already seen some of Forspoken in action, as PS5 has had an open demo for the game over the past month. It’s an open world role-playing game developed by Square Enix that has an interesting plot, impressive gameplay mechanics, and stunning graphics. While 16 is very stylized using different techniques and less "cheating" (when people don't see the cheating they think it doesn't look as good) when you look more closely and really not recognizing this in the first place proves how people are having a hard time discerning what is or isn't good graphics.Forspoken is officially releasing next week on Jan. It's simply a technique that gives a certain result, it's still not any more convincing if we're being truly honest with ourselves. It still doesn't look right when you navigate 3D space. We've trained our eyes such that we accept the uncanniness of graphics and don't see how far off from reality it really is.įrom a fidelity standpoint, 16 is clearly better but when you look at a wide screen shot Forespoken cheats by simply recreation and scanning in real life objects which anyone can tell is fake but they're also telling themselves "it looks good." But it's only "photorealistic" because it's essentially pasting photos everywhere. There's not much more detail to PUT on game assets anymore. You see different things depending on the environment, you don't see all the detail all the time. And I think this is where graphics are going. When you look at something in real life you actually can't see that much detail because your eye doesn't work like digital pixels. We've been able to get lots of detail for a long time now. I think people think it's all about detail. The closer I look the more I'm like "damn this is pretty fucking good."
